Spa Bridal Timeline

Three Months Before
* Facials*

Begin facial care treatments every 3-4 weeks.  If you are dealing with acne now,

a skin consultation will be needed and scheduled at this time.

*Body*

Begin tanning slowly.  Ask a Buss-y Bodies' staff member the safe and slow way to tan.   Our tanning

products have been tried and tested and coupled with our tanning beds,

you are sure to get the skin color you desire for your wedding day.

*Hair*

Consult with one of Buss-y Bodies' Sr. Cosmetologists to discuss how you would like your hair to look for the day of your wedding.

Colors, highlights, perms, etc., need to be discussed now and planned for during the last month of preparation.

Thinking of your color and texture now leaves less stress for the last month.   If you want the Presage Cutting System,

you will want to get that at this time and refresh 1 month before the wedding.

* Make Your Appointments*

Guarantee your appointments at Buss-y Bodies by calling now.   Schedule appointments for you and all of your bridesmaids, mother, grandmother, aunts, Godmother, etc. (don’t forget your mother-in-law-to-be!).

Wether they have short hair and need just a style or long hair and want all of it up,

Buss-y Bodies can accommodate small or large wedding parties.  We have room for everyone!

(Even if they are not receiving a service, invite them to join you and your wedding party for a snacks and a beverage.)

Should you chose to wear natural nails, schedule your Manicures beginning now for a

standing appointment every two weeks up to the day of the wedding.  If artificial nails is what you chose,

make your appointment for two weeks before the wedding.

*Body*

Begin body wraps to tighten and tone your skin and body. Schedule 1 every week to shed unwanted

pounds or schedule 1 every other week to maintain your weight and rid your body of toxins.

One Month Before
*Hair*

Color, Highlight, Perm or Presage your hair if this is the final result you would like for your wedding.

Have an intense conditioning or clarifying shampoo treatment.

*Body*

Are you wearing a backless or low slung dress?  Are your bridesmaids?  Now is the time to schedule

your back facial to exfolliate and care for any acne problems on your back.

Waxing time.  If waxing is something you desire and have never done so, starting now

is highly suggested.  Get in as soon as possible for your bikini, brazilian, legs, underarms, etc.,

and have the waxing done again one week before the wedding.

Two Weeks Before
*Nails*

If artificial nails is what you will be wearing, you should be getting your nails on now.

*Body*

You should be at your desired color now if you have been tanning.  If not, consult with a

Buss-y Bodies' staff member to find out what you can do to obtain your desired

tan before your big day. If you are not a tanning bed person, Buss-y Bodies has Tanning Towellets

that may be more your liking.  Talk to a Buss-y Bodies staff member to find out more about this sunless

tanning without streaking, odor or discoloration.

*Hair*

Groom and men in bridal party should have their haircuts done this week.  You may need to remind them

and make the appointment for them.  If you are particular on how your groom's hair will look,

plan to attend this haircut.   Give us a call!

*Consultation*

If you have not done so yet, you need to finalize with Buss-y Bodies if you want us to make

arrangements for food and beverages for before your event.  If you will be at the spa in the morning,

muffins and fruit are the most popular choices.  Let us help you in any way we can so you can enjoy

your wedding day!

Week Before
*Hair*

Buss-y bodies has a wide selection of hair pins and always has glitter available at no charge.

*Face*

Trial run make up.  Your custom blend will be made now to match your skin perfectly.

Flawless skin is a must on the day of your wedding!

Final facial.

*Body*

Get all of your waxing done.  Bikini (brazilian), legs, underarm (and don't forget the lip and brow)

Time to relax and take time with your fiance'.   You both could use a full body massage!

One to Two Days Before
*Nails*

If you are wearing artificial nails, a nail fill or maintenance is needed now.

If you are natural nails, final manicure time.

What about the groom?  His hands and nails probably are in need of some attention.

(Another nice relaxing time to spend with him!)

Your attendants should be having their nails done now too.

Buss-y Bodies wants your wedding day to be as stress free as possible.  Therefore, we have a firm policy

on nail polishing - we do NOT polish nails on the day of a Wedding.  Why?

Nail polish can take anywhere from 1- 4 hours to fully and completely dry depending on weather conditions).

Brides are nervous - why add smudges and stressed bridesmaids to the mix?

So have nails done a minimum of 24 hours before the big day.
